ABOUT NGO-IDEAs PARTNERSHIP WITH WEDTRUST:

 

This attempt is distinctive because, the virtual project platform is an internet platform.  On one side the savings & credit programs of the partners and the methods of impact monitoring are show and discussed, and on the other side, it will provide adequate space to all partners from North to South to share their experience about impact monitoring and to exchange and elaborate their ideas on a common methodology, for a participatory impact monitoring. 

The internet platform is an exclusive area where only the partners of this project (registered participants) can log in.   This will have a plenary room, several working group rooms and individual workshop places (basically one per participating NGO).  This internet platform will provide wide space for mutual interaction and sharing of experiences.

 

However, we have a public area, a web page – www.ngo-ideas.net which gives basic information on our project.  This is open to public.

 

Partners can benefit from NGO – IDEAs in various way.

• Benefiting from knowledge, experiences and mutual sharing with other (Indian and German) NGOs.
• Improving knowledge and experience in the setting-up of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) impact.
• Contributing to the self-esteem of NGOs by providing information on project impact.
• Being part of a historical and innovative project for development of new tools for NGOs.
• Improving impact at grassroots level of all NGO projects.

This project is expected to have a positive impact on beneficiaries and on the community as a whole.  The entire process will be participatory and on the basis of mutual sharing.

 

Two specific products resulting from the NGO-IDEAs projects are.

a)       A report on the impacts of  NGO project work &

b)       A toolbox for impact monitoring and evaluation.
